Holiday shoppers are looking for ways to get the things they want while still saving money. To help consumers do both, Revolution Money Inc. today announced a promotion offering big savings for using RevolutionCard(TM).
Consumers can save up to $100* just by using their RevolutionCard at the more than 300,000** store locations that accept the Card. For each purchase of $50 or more, cardholders get $5 back*. This limited time offer can be used up to 20 times, for a total savings of $100*.
“Consumers are looking for savings right now - they can’t wait the months or even years it can take for points to turn into rewards,” said Ed Vittoria, VP of Marketing, Revolution Money. “Shoppers can get cash back by using their RevolutionCard to buy everything from holiday gifts to everyday items. Plus, merchants save every time a RevolutionCard is used instead of any other leading credit card. And because a cardholder does not have to wait to sign a receipt, RevolutionCard can even make checkout lines move faster!”
The RevolutionCard credit card is the first PIN-based credit card for purchases in the U.S. With no cardholder name or account number on the card, RevolutionCard provides greater protection against fraud and identity theft. RevolutionCard also saves merchants money by charging no interchange fees and only a .50% processing fee per transaction to accept - up to 80% less than other card brands.
To apply for a RevolutionCard or to see a list of stores that welcome RevolutionCard, visit www.RevolutionCard.com.

Well I’ve got one up for grabs. Now, before you all go getting in line to leave that winning comment - I want to share a little detail with you about this awesome piece of office machinery.
Now that I’m in the beginning stages of preparing my big move in a couple of weeks and having seen a friend and a relative go through identity theft in the recent years, I realize the importance of disposing of personal information properly. You just can’t discount extra security and privacy measures these days.
The Fellowes Jam Proof System eliminates frustrating jams by preventing overloads and powering through mis-fed paper. Time-saving sheet capacity indicator measures paper as you shred to ensure maximum capacity at every pass. This personal shredder shreds 12 sheets per pass into 5/32″ x 1-1/2″ secure confetti particles. Exclusive patent-pending Safe-Sense Technology stops shredder immediately when hands are too close to the paper opening making this a safer in-home shredder where children reside. I love the sleek, modern design and the easy-empty 6-gallon pull-out bin.
This bad boy retails at Staples for $229.99
Now, here’s how we are going to make this a fun giveaway!
Here’s how you can win:
Leave a comment on this post and tell me briefly what you would do with this shredder if you won it. Will you place it in your home office? Will you give it as a holiday gift? Will you take it to work and be the hottest and most talked about shredder on the floor?
I will allow 9 Days to enter - A winner will be selected at random on November 26th.
Enjoy and good luck!

With the winter chill setting in, moisturizing my skin becomes more important than any other time of year. Having crossed over into the whole 40-something arena - moisturizer is not something I care to scrimp on. I kind of enjoy the fact that people think I’m in my early 30’s and love feeling as if 40 is the new 20.
One exceptional moisturizer is - MAC Studio Moisture Cream
Product Description: A super-rich creamy moisturizer boosted with skin-nourishing extracts including passion fruit, spinach leaf, green tea, algae, wheat germ and coconut. Moistens, feeds, firms and protects the skin. Promotes a healthy radiance. Diminishes the appearance of fine lines. Good for day and night.
Retail: $31.00 and is available for purchase on MAC Cosmetics

For the most serious shoppers, the Friday after Thanksgiving starts early - in some cases at 12:01 AM and those in front of the hoards of Black Friday shoppers will score the best deals, by far. For retailers, this signals the start of the holiday shopping season.
Ever wonder how America’s busiest shopping day came about?
- In 1939 President Franklin D. Roosevelt moved Thanksgiving up a week to extend the shopping season and help businesses.
- The days was first called Black Friday in the 1960’s - it is a term that is derived from an old accounting practice of using red ink for debt and black ink for profit.
- Just last year it is reported that more than 147 million people hit the sales that weekend and 14 percent of them were in full shopping mode by 4 AM and each spent an average of $347.
Interesting isn’t it?
Do you have a Black Friday story that stands out? What’s the best deal you’ve found while shopping on Black Friday?
