Julie Watson SmithJulie Watson Smith is the founder of Mommy Hullabaloo:

Mommy Hullabaloo started as a small grass-roots discussion group and newspaper column; we have now grown into an company that understands the powerful urge for moms to connect, organize, and simplify without sacrificing her or her family’s needs.

Mommyhood Diaries She’s one empowered mother who was able to turn things around even in the middle of chaos that motherhood usually brings.

She was having one of those days (when everything goes wrong) when the idea started and resulted to Mommyhood Diaries: Living the Chaos One Day at a Time, published recently by Wyatt-MacKenzie Publishing.

The book is a compilation of entries by 101 mothers as they go about feeding, diapering, cleaning, chauffeuring and working every day.

About the author:

Hello there. I am Gloria, a (proud) single mom to an energetic little boy I fondly call Raine. He was born Rainier Brando and will be turning three next month. I majored in Chemistry and have been working on rice research for almost 8 years now.

I’ve always described myself as a multi-tasker, a juggler of some sort; if raising a child alone qualifies me to such a title. While I live a normally stressful life, blogging kept me sane in the past year. I’ve started a personal blog that I keep as a therapy, where I write all the musings and rumblings before they explode inside my head and turn me into a billion pieces.

In turn I was given the great opportunity to run The Philippine Culture Blog and join a team of Filipino Travel bloggers. Not that I’ve traveled a lot, but Philippines of its 7,107 islands, where I’m born and bred; is a country and culture I have yet to discover.

Truly I am honored to be part of this group that will empower mothers from different walks of life. I hope that my story will inspire and uplift others.
